Acupuncture: The insertion of fine needles into specific body points to stimulate, disperse and/or regulate the flow of vital energy, known as Qi. Acupuncture can help restore health and eliminate pain by obtaining a free flow of vital energy. In addition, one will experience a deep state of relaxation, reduced stress, and speed up healing & recovery time.
Jin Shin Jyutsu: The ancient art used to harmonize and bring balance to the body's energy flow. By placing the fingertips (over clothing) on designated safety energy locks, one can facilitate the body's own natural healing mechanism. Jin Shin Jyutsu compliments other healing methods, induces relaxation, and reduces the effects of stress. This form of therapy can be used for someone who is sensitive to needles, excellent for infants and pediatrics, or would like to try something in combination with an acupuncture treatment
Chinese Herbs: Used as a primary form of treatment in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chinese herbs can be used alone or to compliment an acupuncture treatment. They are safe and effective when prescibed by a licensed practitioner.
Detox Treatments: Used for smoking cessation and drug addiction. These treatments involve auricular therapy (ear acupuncture) along with body points. Efficacy of this treatment relies on consistency. We ask that you make the commitment of 5 consecutive appointments up front, to ensure that you will receive the maximum benefit and greatest chance of success.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture: Also known as cosmetic acupuncture, is virtually painless, non-surgical method of reducing the signs of aging. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture reduces fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, sagging and discoloration of the face, while simultaneously supporting overall health. Approximately 10-12 treatments are needed on a weekly basis to achieve the desired effect, followed by maintenance treatments. This is a natural, less invasive approach to a younger looking you.
Cupping: A technique where a glass cup is suctioned onto the body and allowed to sit for a few minutes. This technique stimulates circulation, relieves swelling, decreases pain, and greatly enhances an acupuncture treatment. Cupping is used for back pain, neck and shoulder pain, leg pain, and common colds and flu.
Gua Sha: This is a scraping technique using a jade stone or ceramic spoon to the skin surface. This technique moves qi stagnation and blood stasis. Gua Sha is used for muscle tension, pain, and to rid the body of toxins.
Moxa: Is a chinese herb, known as mugwort, used to treat deficiency patterns and disharmonies. The herb is heated over specific points on the body, to penetrate the blockage and to tonify the deficiency.
Combination Treatment: Acupuncture + Jin Shin Jyutsu.
